FlagTagAZ is a great place to have a birthday party in Flagstaff. FlagTagAZ parties are loved by kids age 5 to teens, okay, adults love them too! Come experience our two story laser tag arena, delicious pizza, and great atmosphere. We have a Deluxe Party Package, a Classic Laser Tag Party Package, mini-parties and more. Parties are available every day of the week. 

Deluxe Laser Party (Total Party Time 2 Hours) Minimum of 10 tag players

• Party cabin 2 (larger party cabin) reserved for two hours.
• 2 games of laser tag: Please see FAQ’s for usual party flow.
• One $5 arcade card per person (extra game credits available for purchase at kiosk inside FlagTagAZ)
• Starting with three extra large pizzas cooked to order on-site
• Pitchers of fountain drinks (Dr. Pepper, Root Beer, Starry, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Lemonade) 
• Standard party crockery for your room includes:
  
  • Four Tablecloths, one plate and napkin per laser tag player – choose your color – Lime green, Red, Yellow, Blue, Black, Orange, Teal or Pink. (Or feel free to bring your own, just let us know.)
  • Celebration message on chalkboard art wall in party room. Provide your special message to us! Some examples: “Happy Birthday Sam”, “Tim’s Bachelor Party!”
• Oven baked cookies
• Feel free to bring your own cupcakes or cake.
• Alert us of food allergies!

Micro Laser Party

Our smallest party package with just the basics:

• One laser tag game (mixed with other groups)
• One $5 arcade card per person
• Pizza and soda to share 

Five players minimum, $15 a person. Grab a table upon arrival and celebrate with a Micro Laser Tag Party

**$50 outside food fee for bringing in any extra food or drink, single serving exemption for food allergy/intolerance. Any sharable food or drink, ie. veggie trays, disposable water bottles, you will need to pay outside food fee. Cake is fine to bring in. You may bring in table cloths or table decor, no wall space available with this option.

Axe, Dart, Laser Tag and Pizza Party

The party with the most options. Axe throwing in one lane in sport bay #3, your choice of 2 games of laser tag or an unlimited laser tag wristband for each laser tag playing guest (minimum of 10 players). Dart throwing on 2 dart targets. Any axe or dart throwers must be over 10 years of age. If doing unlimited laser tag option, all guests must move out of sport bay area when scheduled party time is over, and can continue playing laser tag if arena is available.

• Choice of 2 games or unlimited laser tag
• One axe throwing target and two dart targets, axe throwing training included
• Starting with three pizzas and fountain sodas
• Sport Bay #3 area for 2 hours
• Option of adding on $5 arcade cards
• Parents may throw on the sports bay #3 lane as long as they sign the waiver and get trained by one of our axe coaches.

Party FAQ

How Will My Classic Or Deluxe Party Flow?

The usual process is for your group to do arcades for the first 15 minutes while guests are arriving, during that time you can set up extra decorations in the party cabin if desired.* Fifteen minutes into the party, your group will head to the laser tag arena, watch the training video and do one laser tag game. During that time, our staff will be prepping your pizzas.

Your party will have about 15-20 minutes for eating pizza, then head back to the laser tag arena for the second game. It is best to have the kids head towards the laser tag arena after eating, and not go out and do arcade games. During the second game, we usually bake your cookies and then bring them out. After the second laser tag game is a great time for cutting a cake if you brought one in. Then you should have some time for opening presents or playing more arcades if purchased separately. This usually takes up the entire party cabin time.

The Classic Party has 1.5 hours in party room. The Deluxe Party has 2 hours in the party room.

What Age Is A Laser Tag Party Good For?

Laser Tag Parties at FlagTagAZ are usually best for kids turning age 5 and up. Younger kids sometimes do not enjoy the black-lit arena. If the birthday child has a younger sibling under 5 they can try laser tag without counting as one of the party players.

Do You Charge For Grandparents Coming To The Party?

Grandparents or any extra people may come to the party and we do not change for them if they do not play laser tag. The larger party room of the Deluxe Party will accommodate more non-participants than the smaller room of the Classic Party, which can only fit a few.

What If I Have Extra Kids Wanting To Play Laser Tag?

If you have extra kids or adults wanting to play laser tag over the minimum amount, 10 laser tag players, then we charge a discounted rate for additional players, you can add them when you book your party.

What If I Have Less Than 10 Kids?

If you have less than 10 kids you can still do a Laser Tag Party Package if you still want the packaged deal and party cabin. You may also have adults join the kids to make up the group of 10.

Another option is a Mini-Party or Micro-party. For Mini-parties you would not get a package or the party room. See Mini-Party Details in Mini-Party questions.

Will I Have Time To Decorate?

Your party cabin is not guaranteed until the time of the party, you may arrive 15 minutes early and ask the staff if you can come in to decorate. There will also be time to decorate, the first few minutes of the party as the kids usually go in the arcade area to play arcade games during that time. If you have scheduled a party on a less busy time, you may have more time to decorate before the party, but it is not guaranteed. If decorating walls, please use painters tape. If bringing helium filled balloons, please have them tied down as we have very tall ceilings and will not be able to retrieve them for you.

What If We Would Like A Longer Party?

The Classic Party is for 1.5 hours in the smaller party room. The Deluxe Party is for 2 hours in the larger party room.

The best option for a party longer than 2 hours, is to have the party on schedule, then move out of the cabin and into the arcade area after the hours. There is no extra cost for that, and it keeps the party rooms flowing on busy days. The other option is to rent the party cabin for more time if it is available. We charge $75 per hour, as it blocks out the room for others to be able to schedule a party. Most groups are happy with just moving out of the party room after the hours and letting the kids do more arcade games at that time. The group will grab a table in the arcade area and can hang out there for a while longer if desired.

Can I Bring In Outside Cake Or Food?

You may bring in outside cake or other birthday dessert. No alcohol may be brought in due to our liquor license. 

We have a $50 outside food and drink fee for any food or drink besides the cake or birthday treat. Exceptions for a single serving for a medical reason.

We Have Kids With Special Diets Or Food Allergies.

In our café we do sell a cauliflower crust gluten free pizza. (The crust does contain small amounts of dairy). The Gluten Free crust is a small 10 inch pizza and can feed two kids or one adult. You can call us ahead of time to let us know to add on a gluten free pizza, or tell us when we confirm your pizza order at the beginning of your party.

Our cookies do not contain peanuts, but they may have the required notice on most products saying that nuts or tree nuts are processed in the same factory.

When Can I Have A Party?

Parties are available every day of the week during our normal hours. Please book online to reserve your party cabin about 2-4 weeks before your desired date. Or more if planning ahead. We may have room for last minute bookings, please check booking system.

Am I Scheduling A Specific Cabin?

Due to high demand of the larger cabin for extended family groups, cabin 2 (Larger Party room) is separate listing for 2 hours, and an extra pizza and pitcher of soda. That listing is called the Deluxe Party.

What Is A Mini Party?

A mini-party just means it is not a package deal. You would pay for whatever services you would like to do. We do have a spot online to book your mini party. This helps us to know you are coming and helps us know where to direct guests when they arrive. Please book your mini party online.

How Do I Book A Mini Party?

We have a mini party booking product on our booking page. Booking a mini party lets us know your parties arrival time. We assume you will be starting your games during that first hour of your arrival. Booking online is important so we know where to direct kids who have arrived and are looking for your party. Also, so that you know the laser tag arena is available. When you book a mini party you are selecting the number of laser tag games you would like to purchase, and letting us know how many people plan on playing, if you only pay the deposit we can adjust the booking for “no-shows.”

Is The Mini Party Or Deluxe Party A Better Deal?

The Classic or Deluxe Party is a discounted packaged deal ideal for 10 or more laser tag players. We try to give our guests options that meet their needs. Some people really like having the reserved space of a party cabin, and some people don’t mind grabbing a table and being out in the middle of all the fun. Some people like the structure, package, and schedule of the party packages, and some people want to do it their way. If you like what the Party Packages offer, then we suggest going that route. If not, a mini-party is the thing for you no matter what size your group is.

How Do I Get Arcade Cards For A Mini Party?

You can purchase arcade cards at the kiosk located inside of FlagTagAZ. Please note that the kiosk does charge $1 per card and you can get a maximum of 6 cards per transaction. The kiosk divides your chosen dollar amount by the amount of cards you purchase. As some dollar amounts have bonus points it is difficult to get an exact amount on each card unless you do each card as a different transaction.

How Long Can A Mini Party Be?

For a mini party, there is no set time, you just claim a table and can stay as long as you would like during our open hours, and as long as the arena is not booked out. (Which only happens occasionally.) Parties for kids are usually 1.5 hrs to 2 hours. But some kids could play laser tag with an unlimited pass, well, for as long as you let them, if that’s the amount of laser tag you have reserved. Our usual recommendation for a 1.5 hour party is two games like the classic party. That way you have time for all the things you would like to do at the party.

When Can Mini-Parties Be Booked?

Anytime during our normal open hours, please book online to be sure there are available spots at your desired time.

• Sat: 10 AM to 10 PM
• Sun: Noon to 8 PM

Please book mini-parties online to be sure the facility or arena is not booked out, which does happen occasionally.

Can I Use The Unlimited Laser Tag Punch Cards For A Mini Party?

Yes, you can purchase or use an already purchased 10 punch pass for your mini party. Weekday and weekend passes are available for purchase.
